Advent Retreat for Worship Leaders October 29-30
Techniques and Problem Solving
September 24-25
This two-day workshop provides time in the In Stitches fabric art studio to ‘play’ with fabric and to be inspired by the colors, textures, and materials in a working liturgical art studio. The days will begin with group activities, aimed at uncovering new possibilities for creative, theological, artistic expression to enhance worship. The rest of each day participants will practice and design their own artful expression. While participants will not have time to work on projects brought with them from home, there will lots of time available to ask questions, to practice new techniques, to get the help they need. Upon registering, each participant will give input about specific skills/issues they want to address while in the studio. (Studio sewing machines are available or you may bring your own.)
First day: 10am-5pm. Second day: 9am-4:30pm. $225 includes all instructional materials and lunch both days.
