Academy for the Art of Ministry
. . a place for pastors and church leadership to
engage the arts, while practicing creative,
innovative ways to communicate the gospel and
re-vitalize
congregations.
We are pleased to welcome you to this teaching/learning site of In Stitches:

Center for Liturgical Art. “The Academy for the Art of Ministry” was
founded in 2006 in response to many requests for classes where pastors
and church leaders could engage the arts, while practicing creative, innovative ways to communicate the gospel and re-vitalize congregations.
On our current class schedule, you will see workshops clustered together in related areas of study, so that pastors, worship leaders, and liturgical artists may participate in multiple days of reflection and study, during a period of study leave or continuing education.
Persons with more focused interests are welcome to register for
individual workshops within these clusters.
Participants will find these workshops helpful in developing skills in contemporary communication, and in integrating what they already do in worship and ministry with new models that seek to revitalize congregations and rebuild strong worshipping communities.
We look forward to seeing you during this year. If there is any question you have about these classes, please feel free to call or email.
The design of events and primary teaching responsibility at the Academy for the Art of Ministry rests with Rev. Brenda Grauer, founder of In Stitches¸ and ordained by the United Church of Christ as “Minister of the Arts.”
